It took many turns
of carefully selected words
Many mistakes
that were quickly erased
and swiftly replaced
by something a little bit better
It took a couple of well-crafted, hand made illusions
to pave a unique path,
true to one’s heart,
safe and untouched by confusion
And it took the willingness to pull down the veil,
to look back at the trail
and not take it to heart
the rebellion of our fading stories of the past,
