I walk through a small, age old temple.
This sacred structure gives me peace on the spot.
Pillars around me, a dome above.
It feels as if they were trying to entice the divine to stay with us, just a little bit longer, before it inevitably flows back into timelessness.
Here, when I take one breath, it is eternity that I am savouring.
It is not the beautiful mundane moment, the cauldron of chaos, full of possibility.
It is nothing and everything, it is peace that wants to be love.
It is silence and deafness trying to reach
lips that don’t understand heart.
