I am back where I started, in the hollow darkness of the cave. I wear my body again, this time it feels different.
It feels more luxurious, more shiny. Something glows inside of me, but I have outgrown curiosity so I settle with just feeling the heat.
Bones take a back seat, and all the heat piles up in my heart. It expands my lungs and I begin to breathe.
After a few breaths, I manage to bring the heat up to my eyeballs, and my inner vision becomes impaired – my eyes still closed, I am blinded by light.
To see, or not to see – that is not the question right now. Questions are lost, and I stand unaffected by this immense surge of light.
I know it is time to open my eyes.
