To clarify what is currently happening on this blog – at the moment, in this temple – let’s use the formula
Intent + Focus + Energy + Action = Transformation
as a template.

Here, and now, we have:
INTENT:
To explore and expand knowledge of the qualities that we attribute to the 12 signs of the zodiac.
FOCUS:
To view each sign in terms of their element and quality, and in terms of how they relate to one another.
ENERGY:
Of the Fox, the Deer, the Crocodile, the Bear (Polar, sometimes Brown).
ACTION:
Writing in poetry, story or poetry prose form, specifically on the topic of a particular sign, or in “free-flow” and later choosing a sign to attribute the writing to; and posting on this blog according to the current Moon sign.
*the magical formula Intent + Focus + Energy + Action = Transformation is taken from the book “Faery Craft”, by Emily Carding (pg. 147)

Clarification of the energies:
FOX

Intelligence and sharp senses are crucial for us while we navigate the earthly life.
Our environment is complex, with elaborate interrelationships of beings and their surroundings. No matter how uncomfortable it is to be aware of all the threats that could arise, or of our own shortcomings and weaknesses, to close your eyes in the face of danger is a strategy for defeat. To ignore the obstacles that cover every path is to show disrespect for life itself.
Because to know someone or something deeply is a consequence of love. That’s why closeness has that flavor of danger, and is born when we completely and truly open our eyes.
I will see you, completely, in order to love.
DEER (DOE, FAWN)

At times, we do not need to comprehend. To intuit, to sense will be enough.
The ability to feel the subtle energies that fill our being and blend us with other beings and the environment is a perfectly functional navigation system. In that manner, we can evaluate whether something is detrimental to us or not, without the need to understand the situation through the intellect.
That sensitivity opens us up, and we are able to dive deeper into life, completely surrendered. Extremely aware of the hurt this life can cause us, we find countless sanctuaries in the form of people and places that give us comfort, compassion and love.
CROCODILE

We have influence, we have power, and until we learn to use that power, we are the danger. We are the threat. We are the bad influence.
On the road of growing our power, we will step on a being or two, devastate a place, desecrate a memory. It is of the utmost importance to be able to acknowledge what we have done, and to be able to see ourselves as faulty without losing our minds.
It is also of the utmost importance to go down the same road time and time again, facing past mistakes, each time learning something new and useful, and letting go of something old and useless.
The power of seeing ourselves as faulty, and at the same time, worthy of love, makes us immune to shame and judgment. There are no barriers for intimacy when the worst is an everyday affair.
BEAR (POLAR, BROWN)

Life is hard. We will face difficulty, we will have to carry a burden, and endure. We will have to be strong for the generations that come, and we will have to pass on all the knowledge that we have acquired.
We cannot keep silent about the harsh and ruthless side of life, and leave our cubs unprepared for arduous challenges that follow.
I wish all could be solved with hugs, so I will give you a lot of those. But I will also teach you to have brutal strength and brutal power while you use the knowledge that will ensure your survival.
