Your trouble gives you identity
Your suffering a sense of virtue
To preserve your place
In hearts of others
You demonize the ones that hurt you
You create a heaven, you create a hell
And a bridge you refuse to cross
You use (or abuse) it to point you finger
And blame someone else
For innocence lost
Instead, I suggest
You cross the bridge, many times over
Mingle with crowds
Stand shoulder to shoulder
Refuse to be tied
To your villain or your saviour
Refuse to be called
A success or a failure
Refuse to be labeled
But keep the bridge
Keep changing faces
Because faces, you need
You need endless expressions
To avoid pretentious questions
Desperate to tie you
only to one shore
Desperate to keep you
away from sanity
Away from being whole
