Entertaining thoughts

I think, therefore I am
Confused
With Moon in Gemini

Don’t be terrified
when you see what goes inside
a mortals mind

Don’t hold it against me
when I entertain a thousand thoughts
None of them can tempt me

Or lead me anywhere

They are careless companions
Here to derail us
From plunging into the darkness we came from

They are whispers of kindness
The nightmares around us

And they wait

For us to give them weight
